French Honor Society
Home
The French Honor Society is a national organization that aims to honor high-achieving students while fostering the learning of French language and culture. Members inducted into the club must show high academic achievements and solid character.
The Miami Coral Park French Honor Society helps its members get involved with a multitude of cultural and community-service activities to support their academic achievements and personal growth in the French classroom and beyond.
Highlights of those activities include a monthly social, a Christmas toy drive, and an end-of-the-year Mardi Gras. While the monthly social is held in the French classroom over the lunch break, toys are collected in school to benefit children attending Notre Dame d'Haiti Catholic Church and they are distributed by students at a late-December event held on church grounds. The annual Mardi Gras is a gastronomical extravaganza that pays tribute to hard work and discipline as the school year comes to an end.
The club conducts fundraising activities throughout the year to make statewide competitions a reality for deserving students.
