Vision and Mission
The mission of the Miami Coral Park Senior High School Biomedical Sciences program is to advance student’s understanding of current research in biomedical sciences while developing their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The Biomedical Sciences program exposes students to hands-on activities in various laboratory settings, where they step into the roles of biomedical sciences professionals and investigate topics that include human medicine, internal organs, genetics, medical equipment, and public health. Additionally, students develop relevant, real-life problem definitions and generate possible solutions to pre-defined real-world situations. The Biomedical Sciences curriculum provides the students with the necessary analytic and college preparatory skills needed to continue pursuing a career in the medical field.
