Mandatory Uniform Policy 2025-2026
Miami Coral Park Senior High School enforces the Miami Dade County Public Schools Mandatory Uniform Policy. Consistent with M-DCPS School Board Rule 6Gx13-5C-1.031, all Miami Coral Park Senior High School students are required to be in compliance with the Mandatory Uniform Policy. The policy specifically requires students to wear approved khaki or navy blue slacks and approved polo type short sleeve shirts (yellow, navy blue, or white). The polo shirts must have collars and have either the school logo or no logo. In order to promote school spirit, students are also permitted to wear club sponsored, school-approved Miami Coral Park High School “spirit” T-shirts.
The following items are not permitted nor are they approved by the Mandatory Uniform Policy:
- Hats/caps, head-bands, or other head-wear.
- Spaghetti strap shirts.
- Sandals, slippers, or open toe shoes.
- Bare “midriff” shirts.
- “Retro-fit” designer polo type shirts.
- Physical Education uniforms worn outside of P.E. class.
- Hooded Sweatshirts.
Approved Shirts:
- The approved Miami Coral Park Senior High School shirt is a polo type short sleeve shirts in white, navy blue, or yellow (solid colors only) with the school logo or no logo.
- Students are also permitted to wear an approved Miami Coral Park Senior High School issued spirit shirt, club shirt, athletic shirt, or team shirt that can be purchased in the activities office.
- Pullovers, sweaters, jackets must be white, navy blue, or yellow. No hooded sweatshirts are allowed.
- Shirts must be tucked into pants.
- No “Retro-Fit” Shirts. (“Retro-fit” shirts are designer shirts which are cut above the belt-line.)
- No oversized or knee-length shirts.
Pants:
- Navy Blue or Khaki Slacks Only.
- No Jeans.
- No Shorts of any length.
- No Skirts of any length
- No Low-cut “Brazilian” or designer pants.
- No Denim “type” slacks.
- No Patch pocket slacks.
- No White T-Shirts.
- No Hooded Sweatshirts.
